This publication accompanies Maurizio Cattelan's exhibition AMEN at the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle.

”Do Maurizio Cattelan’s works require commenting? Because it is silence they call for instead, allowing them to speak to us in their own challenging language. Therefore, our aim was not to write about the artist’s works, but to address perspectives which reveal their theological, philosophical and political aspects. We selected texts and pictures which
do not specify how the exhibition is to be interpreted, instead we entered into a dialogue with what is on display, inviting individual reflections” .

In the book, we find fragments, amongst others, of philosophical works from Z. Bauman, C.G. Jung, G.W. Leibniz, L. Kołakowski, the song of J. Kaczmarski, essays from R. Piłata and J. Majewski, parts of the proclamation from the Polish Bishops to the German Bishops, text from Rabbi M. Schudrich, as well as poems by P.B. Schelley and W. Szymborska.
